A forthcoming publication by The Physics Room

We are inviting proposals for a new publication, thinking about the words, kupu, gestures and relationships involved in communication.

We welcome artists, writers, designers, researchers, and other practitioners who are interested in dialogue and language(s), [mis]translations, handwriting, emojis, hand signals, subtitles, transcription, alphabets, and any and all other forms of communication.

Contributors will receive editorial support and will be paid for their mahi. We encourage proposals from anyone, including first-time and early career writers.

Successful applicants will have six weeks to complete a draft before moving into the editing phase alongside Anna Welham and The Physics Room team.
