Poetry, ping-pong, pop-up photo exhibition

Volker Strübing

Monday 29 January, 5.30pm
209 Tuam Street

German writer, photographer, and filmmaker Volker Strübing has been the Goethe Artist in Residence at The Physics Room for the last few months and now presents some of his literary and visual works exploring Christchurch and New Zealand. Join us at 209 Tuam Street for a reading, artist talk, one-night-only exhibition, and ping-pong!

This evening's event might also be your last chance to say 'goodbye' to the old The Physics Room space at 209 Tuam Street, as we move to 49-59 Worcester Boulevard at the end of January.

Born 1971 in East Germany, living in Berlin, Volker Strübing is a writer, poetry slammer, filmmaker and not very good at table tennis.

Many thanks to the Goethe Institut for supporting this residency.
