Appropriating the notion of moist media from Roy Ascott, the convergence of dry computational systems and wet biological processes, Hana Aoake discusses–in excessive detail and with wry wit–technology, the gendered body, celebrity culture, aliens and capitalism. Working in conversation with Jordana Bragg and Mya Middleton to talk about our contemporary condition, this project creates the wireframe for an app. Through analysing the interrelation of digital and real life through text, Aoake accepts that we are networked, in constant communication, but highlights that our exchanges are usually not equal.
