Ka kite 2025!
Thank you to everyone who came to our openings, exhibitions, and public programmes this year, and for showing up to Star Walker: The Physics Room Annual Fundraiser. Our community makes The Physics Room what we are, and we're so grateful for your continuing support throughout this year.

Summer Hours:
We will be out of office from 19 December–12 January. Inboxes will not be monitored during this time, and any publication sales will be posted after the holidays. The gallery is now closed for the year, and will reopen on Thursday 12 February with our first exhibition of 2026–save the date!

WIN! Audience Survey:
We are asking for your feedback on our programming. It's helpful for us to stay accountable to our arts communities, and to report back to our major funders on our success. By completing this survey, you provide us with valuable information that shapes The Physics Room's future AND you also go in the draw to win a voucher to our bookstore and some festive treats.

The Physics Room Contemporary Art Kōrero:
While we're closed, we'll still be on air. Tune in at 8pm this Friday 19 December to 96.9 Plains FM for our monthly radio show. This month, we're lucky to have AAKI bringing us a special mix, and on Friday 16 January, we'll be back with our usual artist kōrero. If you miss the live episode, you can listen back on our website, or wherever you find your podcasts.
