Place names and all manner of book titles, for example, have been featured in window drawings, projections and sculpture. As part of her prize as a recipient of the National Drawing Award, her own artist book is co-published by ARTSPACE and the Physics Room. Its title is Evidence. Her winning drawing in the 2006 competition, 'I should have been a detective', a pencil rubbing of words indented on a notepad, continued her interest in making images with words, but for Evidence she has worked primarily with photos. Somewhere between an image blog and crime fiction, the book - that comes ziplocked into its own specimen bag - presents a subtly uncanny range of clues as to how we might look at the world, or perhaps how it looks back at us. The book incorporates a text by writer Jon Bywater and is designed after a concept of the artist's by Nicola Farquhar of Studio Ahoy.
