Welcome to Christchurch's annual collective gallery open-evening. Art Trek takes you into the city's cultural heart and its public galleries, dealer galleries and not-for-profit art spaces. From High Street to the Christchurch Art Gallery, a broad spectrum of the visual arts is on exhibition. Art Trek is a unique social arts experience for new visitors, and those more familiar with the city's galleries.

A free bus will run on a 30 minute cycle connecting galleries in opposite parts of town from Alice in Videoland on High Street to the Christchurch Art Gallery on Montreal Street which will act as the central 'hub' providing further details and assistance.

From 8-9pm complete your evening in the foyer of the Christchurch Art Gallery where the Richard Neave / Nick Harte combo performs on electric guitar & drums, and Simon Kong modifies a variety of sound sources with digital software. Experimental sound formed around improvisation.
