This is the third cicada work in 2002. One was at Campbell Grant Galleries' show Shift. It was a large image of an adult cicada pinned directly on the wall. The second work was cicadas arranged in a glass case at CoCA which won the 2002 CoCA Award.

I love sorting, arranging and displaying objects in my home. My home is my studio; my every day life is my practice.
Not all the things are collected by me. Many by others that have been in or are in our house. Some collections are reluctantly discarded when they become tired and dusty, others captured for ever in a box or behind glass.
